A look back

Wow looking back in the short time that has passed by since I was in a relationship over a year ago makes me wonder what a difference a year makes. The person who so suddenly swept in due to so many factors then could not deal with my unwillingness to commit is very far gone from my life. She definitely was a factor, from the time I met her seeing her again after a period of distance and th final closing of the circle when we closed our gap between us. She opened me to much new things including the world of country music, life and happiness, and disappointment.

I have moved on yet in a way I and yet there are moments that freeze in time. In a way I am still unsure of where I am going, will go, and end up. The likelihood is I will run into it and experience the high, the lows, and everything until I meet my match.

Does this mean your better than me?

Funny thing in life is that you meet all sorts of people. Some become friends, some lovers, some ex- lovers, and some are there only for the blink of an eye.

The ones that makes me wonder most are those that decide for whatever reason that your no longer worth being a friend are most upsetting. Not upsetting in a tear jerker help me way but more like the value of friendship is demeaned by the action.

Twice I have met people become friends and somehow lost the connection that brought us together in the first place. Maybe the mixing of a man and a woman is much to complex without throwing in all the other issues that come with it. I hope that someday we will resolve our issues and resume the friendship we once had.
