Bought It Finally ... Canon SD400

Well after looking at the camera for several weeks I finally bought the Canon SD400. What a sweet camera ... 5MP size of a credit card and can record video also ... Its an awesome camera especially since it only cost me 100 bucks or so. Anyways loading up on the accessories SD card, case and extra battery of course. Well that cost more than the camera but what can you do right. Took some shots and I will be posting them online for everyone to check out.

Check it out ... today I sent my cousin Johnny an email ... of course it was a joke or something but anyways ... who I have not seen or spoken to since his sisters wedding. Damn its been a long time ... heck even Anson is almost 2 years old. Pretty crazy but there are not too many Quachs in our family so its good to be in touch with my own family.

Buying a gift for MIL

Last night mom and I rushed up to the San Marcos Costco to pickup the Panasonic Camcorder for Lulu's mom. Its a nice little thing and we even got a better deal because it had an additional $20 off. I really like the thing ... haha funny thing was Lulu said we should keep it and give her mom the old one. Anyways I myself will pbe purchasing a Canon SD400 camera pretty soon as i have been looking pretty hard and have finally decided its the one I want. Its a sweet little thing and should get lots of usage out of it.

Happy Mothers Day

Well today was Mothers Day and it went well lets just say ok. I picked up Mealani from Irvine at 3:30 and got back home around 4:45. My dad and I just drove up there and we hit a lot of traffic after we got back to San Diego. Then we went to this restaurant called Tajima for dinner. It served Japanese food but let me tell ... yuck how disgusting. Now I know that we will never go back to that restaurant again. At first we thought they had sushi there but apparently its more of a meal type restaurant with meatloaf (well their version) and other weird food. Everything was soft and mushy and did not taste that great.

Anyways another week back at work and my dad gave me this idea of setting up a web appointment system that we could sell to places like massage and hair stylists. It might actually work pretty well so we will see. I will try to code that out after I get my data reader working. Alright time to crash and start my week again in the morning.

Cove. Then we went to get some ice cream after already going for boba.
Of course Mealani is so cute so she got a free ice cream from Joanna.

for Performing Arts which was a show of traditional and more classical

Training for Work

I was in training for the last week due to work. Learned a lot about Vb.Net Programming and using the Microsoft Software. It was good for me to get thr refresher on somethings and to learn new things also. Anyways its been awhile since I have written anything in here. On Saturday, I had my car raised back up and the alignment redone. It looks funny all raised up but at least the ride feels better I think. Not too sure as it still feel s a little bumpy. I am trying to sell the parts and the Greddy exhaust also ... too damn noisy I guess. Haha ... must be getting old now or something. Don't enjoy that sound as much although I like the way the 350Z or the G35 Coupe sounds.

Things are the way they are

Well how have things been lately ... well its been moving along. Life is happening and some of it is good and some is bad. I look forward to many things though ... Mealani growing up, living my life with Lulu, and getting older and becoming a proud papa again. I learned today from Lulu, she would like us to have 3 kids total which is scary sounding but I believe that well it will be ok raising 3 kids. The belief Lulu has is that you have to spend money to make money so if you think about 3 kids ... well thats spending money for sure. Otherwise I just look forward to counting down the days until we are back together and spending our life together. We have so many things in the future but imagine the power of 2 positive people putting their efforts together. It will be interesting ... I know that for sure.

Trying Hard Really

Well for the last month I guess I have been trying pretty hard to lose weight. However its not readily apparent that its working. I think there has been progress but nothing I can see on the scale. Also I can still grab a nice chunk of fat on my waist so ... yeah still fat. I was hoping to loose the weight by July but I may need more professional help it would seem. I am not looking for a huge weight loss but I think about 10 - 15 pounds would put me where I would feel really comfortable. Maybe I will hire me a personal trainer so that by the time the wedding pics happen, I will be at my ideal weight. Then in November, the big day I have been looking forward to will be here. It would be so nice to look good for that day.

Been Awhile

Well its been awhile since I have posted anything here so I figured I had a little time to kill while waiting to see if Bill was going for a walk today. Not sure if he si around but I will give him 10 minutes. A lot has been going on some good, some not so good. I guess everything balances out in the end but you do have to wonder what if. There are so many things that can go right and wrong in such a short amount of time. Ok well Bill is around so I guess time to go for my walk.

Today is the day

We are suppose to get HDTV for the house.Its quite exciting to think that we are going to finally see what we have been missing. The time is 8:30am and still no cable guy ... wonder where the heck he is? Well its been quite an exciting month and the year has barely started so when things really start moving along later this year ... I think I will look back and say dang ... what a year 2005 was and I got to enjoy it all.

New 62" DLP TV

Man what a day on Sunday. We went to look for a wedding present for Lulu from my mom and we ended up shopping at Kohl's and then Costco. My dad saw this really nice 62" Toshiba DLP and he said its perfect for our house. I was like its not cheap but a really good deal for the size and price. So what happens ... we bought the dang thing. Went home to pickup the SUV and then back to Costco we went. Its a real beauty but first we had to move the old 57" upstairs. My god that things was so heavy it was not funny.

It took 5 of use to move it upstairs. We had my uncle Vincent, Vinnie, my other uncle, my dad, and me to move4 it up the stairs. But we got it up after quite a bit of huffing and puffing. Boy the new TV looks nice .. show you some pics later on. Anyways my goodness HD is amazing so I am looking forward to getting HD for the house.

Just Another Change in Plans

Well we did not end up going to Las Vegas this weekend due to the severe thunderstorms we have had this year. Quite amazing especially when you think that several months ago Lake Hodges in Escondido was only 17% full and as of today it was 100% full with water spilling over. Where in the world did all this water come from? RAIN RAIN and more RAIN. Check out some of the pics of all the rain here.

Also Mealani was sick over the weekend so it seemed to be a good idea to not take her to Las Vegas this time as the last time we went she had to go to a doctor up there. I was looking forward to the trip however I hate the long car ride ... I think its like 4.5 to 5 hours by car.

Anyways so I am back at work ... been playing with my new Motorola MPX 220 phone quite a bit. Love the thing, its great but not quite perfect. Maybe the next version will be just right. Even more cool was I sold my Motorola V500 for 150 bucks on ebay. So I pretty much covered the cost of my new phone. Pretty sweet. Ok back to work ...
